MANJUSHRI-NAMA-SAMGITI : KHENCHEN PENTSE RINPOCHE

MANJUSHRI-NAMA-SAMGITI : KHENCHEN PENTSE RINPOCHE „HOMAGE TO MANJUGOSHA with great sounding, whose single great Sound in the three worlds is great, sounding through the sky expanse, the best among those who are sounding. VISUAL DHARMAS- Buddhist Teachings for third millenium are touching the Heart of mankind by inspiring introspection of innate Buddha nature, inherent in every being. These are direct Dharma Teachings and they speak to everyone. To EMBED & SPONSOR preparation of Visual Dharmas means to perform 1. enlightened activity as taught by the Buddhas. Wherever this Visual Dharma is played it brings peace, positive energy and wisdom. All Visual Dharmas are empowered with the Sound of Dharmata (tib. Chönyid kyi rang dra). For the reference verse see the verse above. Visual Dharmas must be treated with respect. They are the Heritage of mankind. Reading transmission can be given by advanced Buddhist practitioner /master who understands and is accomplishing th e meaning of the Buddhist text or sadhana. It gives the student precious opportunty to begin with serious study & practice of it. HE Khenchen Padma Tsewang Rinpoche (born 1931 in Kham east Tibet) is accomplished Buddhist Master of the Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhism. We met Rinpoche in Vienna on Autumn equinox in 1997 at the Shambhala center where Rinpoche transmitted important Teachings & initiations of Buddha Padmasambhava. Rinpoche is the most concentrated and energetic Buddhist Master of our times : he taught the Dharma from early morning till late evening almost without interruption! At the end of his Teaching we asked him for the Reading transmission (tib. Lung,) of ancient Buddhist text Manjushri nama samgiti. We also presented him with Slovenian translation of this sacred text. Rinpoche was very happy by seeing the translation and immediately began to recite Jam-pal tsen-jod (Tibetan translation of Manjushri nama samgiti). From this occassion this recording is tak en. Certainly Manjushri nama samgiti and Rinpoche´s Lung accompanied us in following 11 years of our Dharma path. We began to publish Buddhist texts for free distribution thus practicing 1. dharmic activity. The Lung (skt.prana, vital energy) of this sacred text was like the seed sawn in our consciousness. This Visual Dharma is esp. dedicated for the long life of Khenchen Padma Tsewang Rinpoche (Tibet). Rinpoche showed true yogic response because even after 11 hours of constant Dharma teachings he was not tired but full of energy & joyfull. This are also virtues of daily recitation of Manjushri nama samgiti. May the Lotus feet of the glorious guru remain firm upon the earth ! This sacred Buddhist text was written in 6-7 Century in Sanskrit. In 11th Century it was brilliantly translated into Tibetan by Rinchen Zangpo . Jam-pal tsen-jod has importance in all schools of Vajrayana Buddhism as practiced in Tibet and which are now being practiced also on other continents . Manjushri is connected with Speech or teaching of the Dharma. Many Buddhist teachers and masters have Manjushri as their personal meditation deity (tib.Yidam). In Sanskrit liturgy there are XIII Chapters with 173 verses, arranged in four lines (Skt. pada, also meaning foot). Morning raga (Bairaga) played by Ravi Shankar gives a taste of passionate enlightenment in which this sacred Buddhist text was written in ancient India. At the end we present verse from the Summing up : „For the world without protector, longing for the liberation fruit (vimukti phala), there was promulgated this pure and excellent path (margo visuddha) as the method of the net of illussion (mayajalanayoditah). „ May everybody who hear it be soon liberated from samsara.
